SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences To Rise In Dubaiâs Impressive Skyline

sbe and Accor have just announced the opening of SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences in March 2021, SLS’s first property in the middle east. Standing 75 stories tall, it is set to be one of the tallest hotel and residences in the region. This hotel marks the seventh SLS hotel, with seventeen additional trendsetting destinations across North America, South America and Asia within the next five years.

In collaboration with World of Wonders Real Estate Development, this new property will boast over 254 expertly designed hotel rooms, 321 Hotel Apartments and 371 branded residences. Located in the vibrant and bustling downtown Burj Khalifa, it will be stationed next to popular sites including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Burj Park, Dubai Opera.

“We are thrilled to work with World of Wonders Real Estate Development, Mehmet Nazif Gunal, Founder and Chairman and his team on our first SLS property in the Middle East and second for sbe. The property will feature six sbe culinary and nightlife experiences including Fi’lia and Carna by Dario Cecchini, and will be host to one of the highest pools in the world. It will offer unobstructed views of the City of Gold from its two infinity pools – the highest in the world – cascading off the hotel’s rooftop and a sky lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows. Providing everything one would need for an opulent getaway, the property features a multitude of signature culinary concepts, signature Ciel Spa and salon and state-of-the-art Fitness Center.

Guests can dine at Fi’lia – an authentic Italian restaurant, Carna by Dario Cecchini, a contemporary steakhouse from the award-winning legendary butcher Dario Cecchini, Carna from Tuscany, Italy, or at 12 Chairs Caviar Bar, an intimate 12-seat experience where caviar takes center stage. Other culinary concepts include EllaMia, a sophisticated café serving Los Angeles-based coffee, S Bar, a mixology lounge located in the lobby and last but certainly not least, Privilege, its signature rooftop nightlife venue. On the 69thfloor, the Ciel Spa will cater to the whims of all guests’ beauty, wellness and fitness needs with seven treatment rooms, steam rooms, experience showers, plunge pools, a salon and gym.

Opening its doors to Dubai’s diverse travelers and residents meant the need to immerse its design and aesthetic with the surrounding stunning landscape.Designed by acclaimed Dubai-based designer Paul Bishop, Bishop wanted to reflect Dubai’s unique, forward-thinking and luxurious culture, with an interior design that features contemporary art and sleek accents throughout. Mirroring the very essence of the SLS brand, that of the signature SLS style of luxury, hospitality and comfort, made for an easy partnership of both brand and vision.
