ROAR AFRICA Partners With Emirates to Create a Carbon Neutral Life-Changing Safari

Offered to only 10 lucky guests, the ROAR AFRICA Emirates Executive Private Jet Safari package debuts in August 2021, and will be offered again in August of 2022 and 2023. Priced at $125,000 per person, the truly exclusive 12-day safari plans to bring to life ROAR AFRICA’s mission statement of ‘rewilding souls and enhancing lives while saving wildlife and wild spaces’. The life-changing journey is an extraordinary ‘bucket list’ travel experience and is the first time that the premier airline has partnered with a travel specialist to curate an epic journey.

Poised to offer ultimate adventure and encounters with environmental educators and conservation change makers, the trip’s ethos is rooted in humanity, targeting sustainability and conservation, all with a dash of luxury intertwined. Created for guests who want to go beyond first class, the journey starts with the stunning Emirates A319 Executive Private Jet which reflects the glamour of a bygone era. The jet features 10 private suites, private shower spa and powder room, an expansive lounge which functions as a communal gathering space or restaurant, and a cabin crew committed to providing the highest levels of personal service.

This new package sets, “a new paradigm in and sustainable travel,” says Deborah Calmeyer, CEO and Founder of ultra-luxe Africa travel specialist ROAR AFRICA, as they aim to provide a carbon neutral trip with high-quality offsets. As such, ROAR AFRICA is committed to give back and install 69 solar panels in local villages in Rwanda; plant 1,300 trees across Kenya, provide access to fresh water for 3,000 people in Kenya as well as fund the protection of a rhino calf through Rhinos Without Borders in Botswana.

From August 17 to 29, 2021, the transformative and life-changing itinerary through what is described as the ‘holy grail of Africa’, will be, “the greatest and most impactful safari experience on earth … it will make your wildest dreams come true,” says Calmeyer. Guests will enjoy exclusive-use takeover of Five Star lodges and travel with specialist guides to these destinations: Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls (one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World), the Okavango Delta in Botswana (the largest inland delta in the world), view Kenya’s Great Migration and see the world’s last wild mountain gorillas in the forests of Rwanda.

The journey starts in Dubai with a stay at the legendary Burj Al Arab Jumeriah where travelers can partake in a day of luxury shopping, view ultramodern architecture and partake in a lively nightlife scene. After spending two days in Zambezi National Park and staying at the exquisite and exclusive canvas tented Mpala Jena Camp, you are whisked away for three days in the Okavango Delta and a stay at the Duba Plains Camp. The next stage of the journey is in southwest Kenya with three days in Maasai Mara and a stay at the spectacularly large Mara Plains Camp, set in some 41,000 hectares of the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Last but certainly not least is three days in the Volcanoes National Park which stretches through Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo and a stay at the breathtaking Singita Kwitonda Lodge.
