Features

Here’s where to celebrate Mom this year, with all Mother’s Day weekend rates under $215 a night and all hotels within driving distance of major U.S. cities.

On the heels of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently giving vaccinated travelers the green light to travel domestically, people are planning spring trips more than ever — according to a recent survey by TripIt, a whopping 94% of people said they would travel in 2021, whether by car or plane. While travel seems to be making a comeback, you’ll still need to wear a mask on planes, buses and trains, keep your hands clean, practice social distancing and keep an eye out for symptoms during and after your trip, at least until more people are vaccinated.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to show your appreciation for everything she’s done for you by booking a relaxing staycation or treating her to brunch, a day of shopping or a relaxing spa treatment. Here’s where to celebrate Mom this year, with all Mother’s Day weekend rates under $215 a night and all hotels within driving distance of major U.S. cities.
