Opened in 1997, 18 years after the hotel, The Spa features is one of the top private fitness clubs and spas in DC. Featuring eight treatment rooms and decorated with birch and cherry woods, relax and recover with a full range of healing massages, body treatments, facial treatments and more. True to its name, the hotel recently announced their new spring programming which celebrates Sakura Blossom Spring. Celebrating “Haru Matsuri”, the annual spring festival in Japan that signifies a new beginning, the hotel will be transformed where the character of Haru Matsuri is reflected in a unique way. Curated by DTR Modern Gallery, the artistry of Tokyo based Campbell La Pun will be on display throughout the hotel with an evolving collection of pieces from his evocative Sakura series being shown. The colorful works of the famed stencil pop artist will be on display for the duration of Sakura Blossom Spring.
Available at the Bourbon Steak Bar, lead bartender Alebachew has created two distinct cocktails The UPS ONLY and The KINTSUGI, both with Japanese alcohol as its base and citrus flavors to mirror the freshness of the season.
