Spread across six towers, the ultra-luxury resort will offer 795-rooms, 17-celebrity run restaurants and bars, and the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium when it opens to guests in 2023.

There’s no shortage of luxury hotels in Dubai.

Slated to open in 2023, Atlantis The Royal Dubai will be ushering in the next generation of “ultra-luxury” hotel stays in the city of gold. With 795-rooms, 17 restaurants and views over the Arabian Sea and Palm Island, we got an exclusive first look inside the soon-to-be-opened mega resort.

“This is it. Our moment is finally here to reveal Atlantis The Royal as the world’s most ultra-luxury entertainment resort,” Managing Director of Atlantis Dubai Tim Kelly said in a statement. “Openings of resorts like this one only come around once or twice in a decade, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Guests who book a stay in one of the Atlantis’ 44-luxury suites or signature penthouses will be treated to their very own private infinity pool, as well enjoy access to personal butler service including unpacking luggage, clothes pressing and a private resort orientation among other exclusive experiences.

A “mini pillow” menu will be on offer for guests to curate their sleep experience. Consisting of seven different types of pillows that includes a cool down, memory foam for head, memory foam for feet, buckwheat, pregnancy and a body pillow option, this unique amenity will only be offered to guests in premium suites and penthouses.

Among a few of the celebrity-run restaurants will include culinary icons the likes of Peruvian-chef Gaston Acurio, Iranian-American chef and cookbook author Ariana Bundy, Executive chef founder of Estiatorio Milos Costas Spiliadis and chef and Founder of World Central Kitchen Jose Andres. Nobu is also slated to open their first pool and beach club in the new year.

The hotel — which will be connected via six towers — will also include a 295-foot long Skypool on the 22nd floor which forms part of an outdoor entertainment experience called Cloud 22. Flanked by VIP cabanas and private plunge pools, a swim up-bar and head-shaped DJ booth, the rooftop venue crowning the property will set the stage as a destination for entertainment and nightlife in its own right once it’s completed.

Adjacent to Cloud 22 on the 22nd floor, Ling Ling will serve as the resorts modern Pan-Asian concept. Featuring 360-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Skyline, guests can expect a culturally rich, multi-sensory dining and late-night party experience, according the press release.

Perhaps one of the most unique on-site outlets will be the hotel’s signature cocktail bar called Resonance by Heston Blumenthal which will feature a 21-foot high aquarium filled with 4,000 moon jellyfish.

Before opening to guests in 2023, Atlantis The Royal is scheduled to host a star-studded Grand Reveal this January.

“As these new images demonstrate, this is a resort like no other and the building itself will become an instantly recognizable icon of the Dubai skyline,” Tim Kelly added. “We are excited to begin welcoming guests next year and treat them to an experience they’ll never forget.”

To be one of the first to stay at Atlantis The Royal, guests can make a reservation at www.atlantistheroyal.com. Reservations will open from October 31st 2022, for stays from 2023 onwards.
