Steve & Jay Chase Phantom Voices on Battleship New Jersey | Ghost Hunters | Travel Channel

Videos
The most decorated Battleship in US Navy history, Battleship New Jersey, is currently undergoing renovations to replace part of their aged and disintegrating teak deck. Parallel with the daily work on the deck, paranormal activity has escalated in nearly every area of the massive vessel. People have witnessed seeing apparitions of sailors, threatening shadow figures, heard disembodied voices, and an unseen force stopped someone from falling. At nearly three football fields long, and at once the home to tens of thousands of sailors serving in war and conflicts over 50 years, the Battleship New Jersey has seen tremendous tragedy. A sailor lost his life during the Korean War, another was crushed by a turret, and it’s rumored a seaman was murdered on board. To help with this massive task and investigation, Dustin Pari and Kris Williams join TAPS as they dive into the claims and stories haunting this historic ship. When the restored vessel fully reopens in the summer, it will attract an influx of tourists curious to explore and learn about its history, as well as children participating in overnight camps. The ship hopes TAPS can clarify the root of ongoing terrifying activity to ensure everyone’s safety and that no harm will come to those who come aboard.

Renowned TAPS team members Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, along with Shari DeBenedetti, reunite to revisit their most chilling cases and investigate disturbing new hauntings. Armed with state-of-the-art technology, their proven methodology and special guest investigators, TAPS tackles disturbing paranormal activity head-on, leaving no stone unturned to reach the dead among the living.
