Barbie Has Launched A Pink Lemonade, And It’s Everything

Food & Drink

If you have yet to get your fill of all things Barbiecore in the lead up to the Barbie movie’s official release (mark your calendars July 21st), do not fear: the iconic brand is launching its very own pink lemonade.

The limited-edition drink launches today in partnership with Swoon, the zero-sugar drink brand.

“We are beyond excited to be partnering with a brand as iconic as Barbie,” said Jennifer Ross, co-founder of Swoon.

“Both of our brands focus on celebrating life’s little moments and elevating the everyday things we all do, so we hope this product can be a moment of joy for fans of both of our brands.”

Instead of sugar, Swoon x Barbie Pink Lemonade is sweetened with monk fruit, meaning the drink has all the sweet, fruity and tart nostalgic notes of yesteryear—without the sugar coma.

Ross is a type 1 diabetic who, with co-founder Cristina Ros Blankfein, has committed to making “better beverages” that inspire health and happiness.

And they don’t want to stop there. With this limited-edition release, Swoon will also donate 10% of all net sales to the Barbie Dream Gap Project, which provides resources, curriculum, skills development and leadership opportunities to girls between the ages of 5 and 10 across the globe.

This is Swoon’s second lemonade collaboration, following its successful Matcha Lemonade partnership with influencer and entrepreneur Emma Chamberlain’s brand Chamberlain Coffee.

The collaboration sold three cans every minute on the day that it launched and received overwhelming support from fans of both brands.

Swoon x Barbie Pink Lemonade will be available everywhere Swoon is sold: online at www.tasteswoon.com in cases of 12 for $29.99 or $26.99 with a subscription as well as on Amazon and in select Target, Whole Foods, and Publix stores, amongst others.

Go on, girl: have your Barbiecore and drink it, too.
