Reservations Open For New York City Summer Restaurant Week

Food & Drink

It’s that time of the year. New York City Restaurant Week is back! Restaurant reservations are officially open for summer restaurant week, which runs from Monday, July 24 to Sunday, August 20.

The biannual city-wide food festival allows hundreds of local restaurants to offer two-course lunches for $30, $45 or $60, and three-course dinners for $30, $45 or $60, not including gratuity. Nearly 500 restaurants across 200 neighborhoods in all five boroughs participate, ranging from classic standbys to trendy spots that New Yorkers are eager to fill tables at.

“We’re proud to bring NYC Restaurant Week back for its 31st year, offering locals and visitors the opportunity to experience nearly 500 world-class restaurants and dozens of cuisines across the five boroughs,” said Fred Dixon, President and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions. “NYC Restaurant Week is a tremendous value as well as wonderful celebration of dining. We encourage diners to reserve now to experience the renowned culinary scene that makes New York City the culinary capital of the world.”

Sponsored by Mastercard, New York City restaurant week is also offering Mastercard cardholders a special $10 statement credit on every transaction of $45 or more (up t0 three transactions, for a total of $30 in savings) while dining on-site at participating restaurants. Mastercard cardholders can preregister here. Cardholders can also receive a $10 statement credit when booking a $20+ roundtrip ticket to New York City via NJ Transit for an NYC Restaurant Week meal.

While many restaurants have yet to announce their special menus, diners can browse participating restaurants via online filters including “cuisine,” “borough,” “neighborhood,” “accessibility, “meal type,” “weeks participating,” and, perhaps most importantly for those who like to pick what they’ll order before even reaching the host stand, “has menu.”

A full list of participating restaurants is available at  nyctourism.com/restaurantweek.
