Where To Eat During New York City Summer Restaurant Week 2024

New York City Summer Restaurant Week is so back. The biannual weeks of discounted pre-fixe meals at hundreds of the city’s top restaurants returns from July 22 through August 18. Every participating restaurant offers weekday specials, for either lunch, dinner or both, with the option to include weekend menus. Two-course lunches go for $30, typically for the choice of an appetizer and a main, and three-course dinners are $45 and include a starter, entree and dessert, sometimes more. Many restaurants offer upgrades, additions and beverage specials to celebrate the week and it’s a great way to taste some hotspots on your list. Here’s where to dine this New York City Restaurant Week:

Nami Nori Williamsburg

Nami Nori Williamsburg, the acclaimed Japanese temaki restaurant specializing in open-style hand rolls will host weekday pre-fixe lunches for $30 from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Appetizer options include summer specials like corn ribs braised with Nami Nori bay corn glaze and fresh lime, cucumber tataki or Japanese potato salad. Entree options include the choice of a five-piece temaki set, including a vegan set or a special restaurant week set including spicy tomato tempura flake; tuna poke; red crab california; salmon serrano; and cucumber black sesame.

Kintsugi Omakase

This small sushi atelier in Soho seats 10 and will be offering a 12-course prix-fixe menu for $60 per person with an optional seasonal sake flight for an additional $30 per person for Restaurant Week. Guests can add-on a premium seasonal uni hand roll for $30 per person. The menu will change with seasonality but options may include housemade Japanese potato salad with Arctic sweet shrimp, Hokkaido scallop, akami zuke, uni and more. Seatings are every hour and will be available for lunch Friday through Sunday from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. and for dinner Monday – Sunday from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Kraam

Nomad’s newest Thai restaurant, KRAAM will offer lunch and dinner made with seasonal produce. Lunch highlights include larb hed, spicy grilled mushroom salad with toasted rice, mint, and shallot; Kang Kua Grilled Salmon atop a bed egg noodles with a spicy southern Thai curry and market vegetables; and Ka Prow Plat Based Short Ribs, sauteed with long green chili, garlic, basil and a side of rice. For dinner, enjoy Hoi Yang seared scallop with crispy shallot, mint, chili jam, cherry tomato infused Umeshu, and spicy chili lime sauce; Koong Yang grilled river prawn topped with spicy Thai guacamole, chili jam, and crispy shrimp chips; and Tom Klong Chilean Sea Bass roasted with a lemongrass and kaffir lime broth.

Hutong

Indulge in lunch and dinner menus at Hutong, an elegant Art Deco style restaurant inspired by the glamor of 1920’s New York and Shanghai. Enjoy Northern Chinese cuisine in Midtown with menu featuring dim sum, peking duck, fresh seafood, plus rice and noodle options. The Restaurant Week Menu includes curated selections, plus a chef’s selection of dim sum.

Casa Bond

Cheaper than a trip to Tulum, this Mexican inspired restaurant is serving Restaurant Week dinner. Selections include Ceviche de Coco made with fluke, coconut milk, Fresno chili, jalapeño, red onions, and canchita maíz; Gobernador shrimp and steak on a flour tortilla, chihuahua cheese, tomato, and poblano; Pollo Borracho, a pan seared semi boneless half chicken in negra Modelo beer and butter reduction, with cremini mushrooms; and a vegan platter layered with steak cauliflower, wild rice, kale, carrot purée, and pumpkin pepitas.

IRIS

Enjoy Mediterranean fare by Michelin-starred chef John Fraser for lunch and dinner at this midtown restaurant. A $45 lunch includes a full spread of mezze such as tzatziki with fennel pollen and sorrel, roasted eggplant, dolmas with lemon Agrumato and valencia orange, hummus and more. Entrée selections include branzino filet, homemade sourdough pitas stuffed with za’atar shrimp, spiced lamb, or braised beef brisket and pomegranate.

Estiatorio Milos

Milos Hudson Yards and Milos Midtown will offer a three-course prix fixe lunch for $45, Monday to Friday and a $45 three-course prix fixe lunch or brunch, available on Sundays. Choose from starters including a half dozen East Coast Oysters served with mignonette sauce; Beluga lentil salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and Russ & Daughters Gravlax; and classic Milos tomato salad prepared with vine-ripened tomatoes. For mains, the Whole Grilled Fish of the Day served with ladolemono and capers is offered plus Astako-Makaronda, fresh lobster pasta served Athenian-style ($10 supplement). For dessert, housemade Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts and Karydopita, traditional Greek spiced walnut cake with honey-lavender ice cream, plus more.

The Wythe Hotel

Both restaurants at this property are hosting Restaurant Week specials. Le Crocodile has a two-course prix fixe lunch menu Monday through Friday for $45 per person (with an option to add a third course for a supplemental $10). Dishes include Ajo Blanco and melon soup; duck leg Lyonnaise with frisee and poached egg; trout salade Nicoise with tomato, olives and summer beans; seasonal sorbet; and chocolate mousse; among others. Upstairs, Bar Blondeau is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner menu Monday through Friday and Sunday for $45 per person. Dishes include plum carpaccio with hazelnuts and formaggio di fossa; octopus Galician with potato, chickpea, and aioli; duck hot dog on a pretzel roll with kohlrabi and apple, and key lime pie with an almond wafer crust.
