Uga Escapes

Uga Halloowella

Opening January 2025, Uga Halloowella will be the brand’s 6th property in Sri Lanka. Within a 252-acre tea estate in Hatton, within Sri Lanka’s Pekoe trail, the property will be 1,444 meters above sea level, boasting stunning views of Castlereagh Reservoir and the glorious tea trail region. Steeped in history and heritage from the 1880s, the new hotel will offer only six spacious suites, an infinity pool, an indoor dining area, a bar, and an outdoor dining terrace. Blending old-world sophistication with all the creature comforts that Uga is known for, nightly rates at Uga Halloowella will start from $1,125 (£883*) on an all-inclusive basis.

Oberoi Hotel & Resorts

The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort, Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh
Opening in January 2025, The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort will offer an unparalleled experience in the heart of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Set adjacent to the 400-square-kilometer Bandhavgarh National Park, the 20-acre resort is a three-hour drive from Jabalpur Airport and will offer just 21 accommodations. Opening February 2025, Adina Town Hall Sydney will be just steps away from Sydney’s iconic Town Hall Clock Tower. Following a complete reinvention and full-scale refurbishment, the hotel’s design will bring a level of cosmopolitan formality, as the reimagined guest rooms will look and feel like contemporary long-stay apartments. The lobby and corridors, four versatile conference spaces, the pool, and the gym will also be transformed to create a home away from home experience. The 144-room hotel will offer a new level of casual elegance to reinvigorate the hotel.

W Maldives (2025)

Located on the stunning Fesdu Island in North Ari Atoll, W Maldives is set to reopen in January 2025. Following a bold, full-scale renovation, the first hotel to do such globally is just a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé. Set to offer 77 redesigned overwater and beach villas, each with a blend of indoor and outdoor living, guests can easily connect to the surrounding beauty. Along with a design upgrade, the transformation includes renovations to public spaces and an elevated dining and bar experience with new concepts such as ocean-to-table dining at FISH, Nikkei cuisine and Latin American cocktails at SIP, and beachside barbecue at FIRE.

Capella Taipei

Nestled in Taipei’s pulsating Songshan district, Capella Taipei opens Q1 2025 and will present a beacon of contemporary elegance. Located near Taipei 101, Taipei Indoor Stadium, and a short journey from Songshan Airport, the urban hotel will allow guests to pause and embrace a moment of tranquility. The luxury 86 rooms are designed around the style of a modern mansion. Within the heart of the Yala Jungle in Sri Lanka, this new luxury resort opens in Q1 2025, allowing guests to seek adventure and relax in harmony. The environmentally conscious hotel is spread across a seven-acre estate and will offer 12 villas elevated 12 feet above the forest floor. Each offers a private swimming pool and private deck to view the beautiful surroundings. Born out of a deep passion for nature, luxury meets the exotic from immersive safari experiences, complimentary excursions, culinary splendor, and their Ayurveda Spa (which offers a unique Storm Room). 25hours Hotel The Olympia

Located in the vibrant suburb of Paddington in Sydney, the 25hours Hotel The Olympia is scheduled to open in Q1 2025. Across six floors, guests will be presented with 109 rooms, event and meeting areas, a Levantine restaurant, a street café, and a rooftop bar. 25hours is a neighborhood brand, and as the company’s first hotel in Australia, guests will have a very local experience and attract local and out-of-town guests. Its historic listed façade pays homage to the former cinema and its four F&B venues that will enhance Sydney’s dining scene.

Kempinski Hotel Yangzhou Nuoyuan

Set in a collection of classical Chinese buildings ribboned by waterways and ornamental ponds, the lakeside Kempinski Hotel Yangzhou Nuoyuan will open in Spring 2025. Inspired by the characteristics of Sui and Tang architecture with modern design, the property will be home to 93 elegantly appointed rooms and suites overlooking landscaped gardens and waterways. The boutique-sized hotel will feature a swimming pool, a spa with a gym and fitness center, and a stunning ballroom for high-profile events and corporate functions. Easily accessible from Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport in less than an hour, it is also linked directly to Nanjing and Shanghai via high-speed train.

Kempinski Hotels

Bristoria Hotel Yangzhou

Also located in China’s Jiangsu Province, next door to Kempinski Hotel Yangzhou Nuoyuan, Bristoria Hotel Yangzhou will open in Spring 2025. Following the Bristoria brand’s arrival in China, Bristoria Hotel Yangzhou will feature 312 guestrooms and a wide selection of meeting rooms and function spaces. Guests can expect a more laid-back ambiance than big-sister Kempinski, with a philosophy of simple excellence: a great night’s sleep, fresh local cuisine, and first-class business facilities and connectivity. Close to some of Yangzhou’s cultural highlights, guests can explore the city’s myriad business opportunities, gastronomic riches, and cultural landmarks.

1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne

Opening in early 2025, 1 Hotel Melbourne is situated on the Yarra River, just a 15-minute walk from central Melbourne. The brand’s first location in Australia will feature 277 guest rooms and 114 hotel-branded residences, a Bamford Wellness Spa, an indoor pool, and several dining options. Similar to their other mission-driven properties worldwide, the property’s biophilic design takes shape from local recycled materials, immersing guests in the beauty of their surroundings. Developed in partnership with Riverlee, the hotel is part of the multi-purpose Northbank project, Seafarers. Guests can enjoy breathtaking waterfront views from the lobby bar and their rooms.

Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan 

As the second Waldorf Astoria hotel to open in Shanghai, Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan is set to open in Q1 2025. Opening in Shanghai’s brand-new Central Business District, the New Bund area, the hotel will boast panoramic views of the Huangpu River and immerse guests in the tranquility and glamor of China’s commercial capital.

Patina Osaka 

In April 2025, Patina Osaka will be the first urban Patina property located adjacent to the noteworthy Naniwanomiya-Ato Park. The 221-room hotel is located across Osaka Castle and honors the land with its unique design concept based on memories of Japan’s City of Water. The modern 20-story building will be an urban sanctuary where its design marries a shared love for natural and regional materials with custom art by local artists and artisans. The luxury brand will debut in Japan with Waldorf Astoria Osaka in Q2 2025 in the south district of the new Grand Green Osaka urban mixed-use development. The hotel will span 12 stories of a 39-story high-rise, featuring 252 guest rooms and three distinctive restaurants, including Peacock Alley, the iconic Waldorf Astoria lounge and bar. Along with access to leisure facilities, including an indoor pool, wellness center, and fitness center, guests will enjoy dedicated personal concierges to create unforgettable memories. Opening Q3 2025 in the popular tourist destination of Mehgauli Village in Nepal, InterContinental Resort Chitwan will feature 80 rooms. Guests will soon be able to immerse themselves in Macau’s vibrant milieu at Capella by Galaxy Macau, which is set to open in Q3 2025. The four-story high building is home to 89 rooms and pays homage to the city’s rich heritage through its curation of Japanese artworks and artifacts. Opening in 2025, Rumi on Louth is set to offer intrepid travelers a world of wild indulgence. Off the coast of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia on Louth Island, this private luxury escape is accessible only via catamaran. Surrounded by raw wilderness and breathtaking scenery, guests can indulge in a luxury day spa overlooking the ocean and world-class dining and participate in thrill-seeking adventures. Inspired by Australia’s natural landscapes and committed to making conscious decisions, Rumi on Louth will demonstrate pure intentions, with sustainability at the core—being 100% solar-powered and incorporating recycling and composting practices.

Oberoi Hotel & Resorts

The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh

Also located among nature and wildlife, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace will open in 2025 and is perched majestically on the Managad Hills near Chandranagar, Madhya Pradesh, just under five miles from Panna National Park and Tiger Reserve. Offering a luxurious retreat and access to history and adventure like no other, the resort’s design and expansion protected the original features, structures, flora, and fauna. Located just a 25-minute drive from Khajuraho International Airport, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace is set to welcome guests in early 2025 across their 70-acre estate. Located within the massive The Forestias green development at Bangna in Bangkok, Six Senses The Forestias will open in 2025 (date TBD), presenting a 60-room hotel and 36 residences set around a woodland lagoon. Its sense of place within Thailand’s most unique forest community gives birth to its ethos that living around nature has a therapeutic and calming effect. From its onsite leisure amenities and healthcare facilities to the group’s first Asian membership club, Six Senses Place, guests will embark on pioneer programming to encourage growth, reflection, and reconnection. Scheduled to open in 2025, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage a new resort that stretches across three private islands on Bolidhuffaru Reef in South Male Atoll. The Dali EDITION

Expected to open in 2025, The Dali EDITION marks the brand’s third property in China. The luxury hotel is nestled on a hillside halfway up Cangshan Mountain. It is set to establish a new benchmark for the luxury hotel segment in Yunnan Province in Southwestern China. Set to offer 150 guest rooms, including suites and villas with private pools, guests will revel in the breathtaking views of either Cangshan Mountain or Erhai Lake.
