Hotel Bel Air
Summer travelers looking for California sunshine and old school Hollywood glamour will enjoy the new Hotel Bel-Air experiences, now that the iconic luxury resort has reopened.
The hidden sanctuary just a mile away from Beverly Hills, and beyond the gates of Bel-Air, offers low-key elegance since 1946. The Dorchester Collection CEO, Mr. Christopher Cowdray and the entire team at Dorchester Collection have worked hard the past few months to welcome back guests by implementing new safety, health and security protocols.
From the moment guests walk through acres of lush, fragrant, tropical gardens featuring 483 specimen trees and more than 4,000 plants and over Swan Lake, employees will act as a guide, sensitively communicating the new hygiene, health and safety measures so guests can move seamlessly around the resort, knowing that they are being looked after with the greatest care.
Each guest will receive an amenity kit in their room or suite. The kit contains masks, hand sanitizer and a COVID-19 awareness card.

The swimming pool, gym, Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air restaurant and outside seating for The Bar are now open.
For those who choose to stay in their room or suite, Hotel Bel-Air has created special en-suite experiences that includes room service delivery. Guests may order a picnic spread specially curated by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. Innovative menu items are made from locally sourced produce from the Santa Monica farmer’s market. Boards of artisanal cheese and charcuterie, as well as gourmet sandwiches, house-made baked goods and chilled champagne, are available on the menu.
Even though Hotel Bel-Air’s La Prairie Spa remains temporarily closed until further notice, they have created a selection of wellness care packages to bring some of their luxury spa experience directly to guest rooms and suites. Enjoy pampering from the comfort of a soothing bath experience or invigorating aromatherapy treatment. Guests will find a full menu of options on the iPad in each room.

Other Bel Air experiences include a celebratory chilled bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne, chocolate strawberries, rose petals and Wolfgang Puck chocolate waiting for you in your room. For the happiest of birthdays, Hotel Bel-Air will provide balloons, a 6” birthday cake and a bottle of champagne.
Guests may also select a private Yoga Flow & Tea experience - a 60-minute Vinyasa flow yoga session with a certified instructor on the guest patio, front lawn area or next to Swan Lake. Hotel Bel-Air will set up a yoga mat and blocks. Following your session, guests will receive a revitalizing cup of the hotel’s signature Swan Song tea.
To make life a little bit easier, Hotel Bel-Air has amended its cancellation policy until the end of the year, so unrestricted cancellations can be made until as late as 4 p.m., on the day of arrival.
