Ghost Adventures investigates two very haunted buildings in Deadwood, SD, one of the deadliest towns in American history. The first stop on the journey is the Fairmont Hotel. Zak speaks with the owner of the hotel, Ron Russo. Ron believes that during a spiritual cleansing of the building, a spirit known as the, “angry man,” caused him to have to have a heart attack. Ron also speaks about the story of Maggie, a prostitute who leaped to her death from a third floor of the hotel. Ron then shows the guys a photo of an apparition captured by a local investigator

Paranormal investigators Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin, along with A/V techs Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley, travel to haunted destinations where they meet with eyewitnesses and experts to piece together the haunted history of each site. They then begin a dusk-to-dawn lockdown investigation, using the latest technology to confront the reported paranormal activity and document key evidence in an effort to uncover the truth behind each haunting mystery.
