PHILADELPHIA, USA – Today we’re going to Angelo’s Pizzeria, one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia to eat pizza, cheesesteaks, and hoagies all at one place. They also have chicken parm and meatball subs, which I would have loved to try, but they didn’t have them the day we went.
Sarcone’s Bakery (https://goo.gl/maps/jL6jEB9b1qqBXCdb6) – But first, we headed over to Sarcone’s Bakery, one of the great bakeries in Philadelphia. They bake a variety of different daily breads and goods, and they also have pizza, which is very bread focused and delicious. JL and I started with a slice of pepperoni pizza. We also tasted their hoagie rolls.
Sarcone’s Bakery is located just down the road from Angelo’s Pizzeria, and they also have a family connection.
Angelo’s Pizzeria (https://goo.gl/maps/zy7vMLA6LEr6oXscA) – Angelo’s Pizzeria is one of those places that no matter what they cook and serve, they perfect, and if somethings not right for the day, they don’t sell it. Today, they had the full range of pizza, hoagie sandwiches, and amazing cheesesteak, and we ordered them all. The kitchen was neatly arranged, with each station specialized in each dish. The hoagies are some of the best you’ll have in Philadelphia, the pizza is out of control delicious and some of the most bubbly puffy pizza I’ve ever tried, and the cheesesteak was among the best quality and tasting cheesesteak I had in Philly.
It was another meal of outstanding iconic Philly food!
