Inside the World’s Largest Kitchen in India (100,000 People Per Day!!)

Videos
Welcome to the Golden Temple, the holiest site of Sikhism in Amritsar, Punjab, India! Today we’ll be eating at the world’s largest community kitchen, where they serve 100,000 people per day, and on holidays and special events it can even be 200,000 people!

Thank you to Guriqbal and Anubhav Sapra, @delhifoodwalks for arranging my time in Amritsar, India, and The Golden Temple.

The Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib Gurdwara) is a fascinating place, so beautiful and so spiritual, and everyday anyone in the world can come to eat a meal for free, a practice that’s called a Langar.

Today we’ll be getting an inside and special look into the kitchen to see what it takes to cook for 100,000 people, and then of course we’ll join everyone to eat!
